★ What will this webinar cover?
There has been a growing interest among refugee service providers in understanding the dynamics of gender-based violence (including domestic violence and sexual violence). This webinar will be an opportunity to hear from a local, culturally specific organization, Womankind, learn the basics of understanding and recognizing gender-based violence (GBV) within refugee and immigrant communities, and explore what a culturally responsive approach to GBV services can look like.

This introductory webinar is aimed at front-line and management staff of organizations working with refugee and immigrant populations who are looking to better understand gender-based violence and its impact on refugee and immigrant communities. It will be best-suited for those new to GBV services or those seeking a refresher in fundamentals.
