According to the Southern Poverty Law Center and the most recent FBI hate crime data, hate, and bias incidents in K-12 schools have increased in recent years, including those directed at immigrants. This webinar will discuss how refugee service providers can collaborate with school districts to take proactive measures in promoting safety and inclusiveness, as well as how to partner when responding to bullying and harassment of refugee students.

- Describe the increase in bias and hate incidents towards students in schools;
- Give examples of ways in which refugee resettlement agencies can proactively partner with school districts to promote safety and inclusiveness; and
- Name ways refugee resettlement agencies can partner with school districts to respond to incidents of bullying and harassment, including formally reporting incidents.
